The Housing Association Partnership Heads of Terms document explains the whole project and, once agreed by the Upper Coly Valley Community Land Trust, will be sent to suitable housing associations by way of inviting expressions of interest in becoming the Community Land Trust’s partner. The method of rent setting was discussed; something that has been in place since the Comprehensive Spending Review of 2010. Rents are set at 80% of the market rent for comparable homes or at the Local Housing Allowance, whichever is the lower.
